Senior Full Stack Java Developer - Traffic Management Systems

Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to manage business-critical applications. The role focuses on developing scalable Java solutions for infrastructure management and traffic planning within a large-scale Agile framework. Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. Develop and implement scalable Java-based systems for mission-critical operations. Optimize and maintain existing applications within a complex IT environment. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure software quality. Provide technical documentation and architectural guidance for ongoing projects. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing. Support system availability by participating in a 24/7 standby rotation. Qualifications 8+ years backend development with Java 21 , Spring Framework , Hibernate , and JPA . 8+ years data management using SQL , Oracle , H2 , XSD , and XML . 8+ years software quality and testing with TDD , JUnit , Mockito , Selenium , and JMeter . 8+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git , Jenkins , and Artifactory . 8+ years experience in Agile Scrum environments applying Clean Code and SOLID principles. 5+ years architectural design including Kafka , Domain Driven Design (DDD) , and Microservices . 1+ years with LeSS , DevOps , OpenShift , Hexagonal Architecture , and Angular 19+ . 1+ years using Hazelcast , WebSockets , and Miro . You are fluent in English with C2 level in French or Dutch . Nice to Haves Willingness to participate in a 24/7 standby rotation.
