The client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to support and enhance a complex application platform hosting over 40 business-critical applications while helping modernise legacy systems into modern Java/Angular solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java and Angular technologies.
- Support the migration of legacy applications into modern, scalable solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into maintainable technical implementations.
- Work across multiple applications within a large enterprise platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality initiatives.
- Troubleshoot, reverse engineer, and improve existing legacy solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
- Java 11+ (ideally Java 17+) and Spring Boot.
- Angular 14+ (ideally Angular 18).
- Strong SQL expertise.
- RxJS and NgRX experience.
- Docker and Git.
- CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience working within complex application landscapes.
- Stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Agile/SAFe environment experience.
- Automated testing and code quality focus.
Nice-to-Have:
- MySQL.
- PHP.
- GitLab.
- Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Nx.
- Experience modernising legacy platforms.
