Cognizant is seeking a Full Stack Java Engineer to create scalable, high-performance applications. This hybrid role requires 4 on-site days per week in Toronto, Ontario.
As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer at Cognizant, you will design and deliver cloud-native applications alongside cross-functional Agile teams. Key skills include Java (Spring Boot/Microservices), Angular or Node.js, and your track record in API design will be crucial. You will also contribute to system architecture, enabling CI/CD pipelines while adhering to modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain full stack applications leveraging Java technologies
• Build and integrate scalable RESTful APIs for functionality
• Design reusable, scalable system architecture solutions
• Develop cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Enable CI/CD pipelines and automation with GitHub Actions
Requirements:
• 7–12 years of full stack development experience
• Expertise in Java and Angular or Node.js
• Proven skill in designing RESTful APIs
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or OpenShift
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes
