Full stack javascript developer - consultant

We are seeking a passionate Lead Full Stack Java Script Developer to join our growing team. 1. ABOUT ELTEMATE We are ELTEMATE – A Hogan Lovells Legal Tech Company. Our portfolio covers a large spectrum of legal tech solutions including artificial intelligence, e Discovery, information analysis, regulatory updates, databases, deal rooms, workflow management, case management, document automation, risk assessment, reporting, and apps. 2. ROLE DESCRIPTION As a Full Stack Developer - Consultant, you will be responsible for spearheading the design and development of robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using the latest technologies. You will be a client-facing consultant in Mexico City. Mexico, while collaborating with cross-functional European Engineering and R& D teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. 3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and maintain full stack web applications using Java Script (Type Script), React, and Graph QL. • Design and implement scalable and secure back-end APIs and services to support front-end functionalities. • Write clean, efficient, and modular code adhering to best practices and coding standards. • Optimize application performance, ensure scalability, and address bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end systems. • Collaborate in the database design and management of those systems (Postgre SQL or Mongo DB). • Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and debugging to identify and resolve issues. • Collaborate in the design and implementation of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of web development. 4. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Engineering leadership experience, for example as lead/principal/staff engineer or engineering manager • Experience of client-facing interactions and strong stakeholder communication • Strong proficiency in Java Script programming language. • Experience with React.js and Node.js and its ecosystems. • Familiarity with Graph QL and its implementation (Apollo, Relay, etc.). • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Professional Fluency in Spanish and English. OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS • Managing and optimizing database systems (Postgre SQL or Mongo DB). • Familiarity with frameworks like Nest.js and Next.js. • Experience with Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Docker. • Experience with testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright. • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and tools like Figma or Adobe XD. • Experience with Graph QL subscriptions for implementing real-time features. • Exposure to AI/ML technologies and their integration into web applications. • Experience with internationalization (i18n) and localization to support global user bases. 6.
