Our client is seeking a Principal Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join their talented Australian-based team. This role will see you working closely with the Head of Design and UX and the CTO to bring their visionary platform to life.
You’ll need at least 8–10 years of JavaScript development experience and a proven ability to deliver exceptional results. Experience in a commercial crypto or blockchain business is highly desirable, as we’re looking for someone who truly understands and is passionate about this exciting space. Familiarity with tokens and other key elements of the blockchain ecosystem will be a major advantage.
This is not a role for someone who waits for instructions. It’s for a problem-solver, a doer, and a developer who takes ownership, finds solutions independently, and says, “Here’s what I built—what do you think?”
Australia (100% remote, with all team members based locally in Aus, East Coast).
So what is the actual role ?
- Develop and implement front-end and back-end features using JavaScript, React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Design and UX to create seamless, visually stunning, and user-centric experiences.
- Partner with the CTO to align the technical architecture with the company’s goals and ambitious vision.
- Build, deploy, and manage infrastructure on AWS , ensuring scalability and reliability as the platform grows.
- Work on projects involving tokens and other blockchain innovations, leveraging your deep understanding of these technologies.
- Take ownership of technical challenges, independently find solutions, and deliver results that exceed expectations.
- Leverage your understanding of the crypto and blockchain space to shape innovative solutions in a fast-paced start-up environment.
What our Client is looking for ?
- 8–10 years of JavaScript development experience, with advanced expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience working in a commercial crypto or blockchain business is highly advantageous.
- Passion for the crypto and blockchain space, with a strong understanding of tokens and other key elements of the ecosystem.
- Strong AWS expertise, including deploying, managing, and scaling applications.
- Proven experience building responsive, user-focused applications in collaboration with design and UX leaders.
- A sharp eye for design and user interface, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive experience.
- The ability to work independently, proactively solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
