About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Mobile Application Developer to join our Mobile Development Team. Despite the title, this role is primarily focused on Java backend development , with mobile development experience serving as a complementary skill set.
The team develops and supports enterprise-grade internal applications used by employees globally, supporting both iOS and Android platforms . These are business-critical enterprise applications rather than consumer-facing mobile apps.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strong Java backend engineer who has worked on enterprise applications and is interested in contributing across the full stack, including mobile technologies, APIs, and web applications.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can independently own projects, drive technical solutions, and work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications supporting corporate mobile platforms.
- Build and enhance scalable Java-based backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- Develop and support internal web and mobile applications utilized across the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Integrate applications with third-party systems, vendor platforms, and REST APIs.
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to frontend development efforts where required.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD initiatives to improve software delivery and automation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency and user experience.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development .
- Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and enterprise services .
- Experience building and supporting enterprise/internal business applications .
- Exposure to iOS and/or Android development .
- Experience working with relational databases such as DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar .
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments .
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or other Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise mobility solutions.
- Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell Scripting.
- Exposure to iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and automation.

- Comfortable working across backend, frontend, and mobile technologies when needed.
- Interested in learning new technologies and expanding their mobile expertise.
- Adaptable, proactive, and capable of driving projects with minimal supervision.
- Able to take ownership from requirements through implementation and production support.
- This is primarily a development-focused role .
- The team owns production support responsibilities through a shared rotation.
- Weekend escalations are extremely rare.
- Candidates should be comfortable participating in occasional support activities when required.
