Job Description Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a Related Field. Required Skills and Experiences: Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience. Experience overseeing application development, modification, and maintenance. Experience installing and configuring systems and software. Experience testing software for malfunction detection. Experience identifying and resolving business systems issues. Experience designing and deploying new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems. Experience measuring system effectiveness and efficiency. Experience developing and implementing system improvement strategies. Experience monitoring and testing system performance. Experience training and mentoring junior engineers. Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals. Ability to conduct system analysis to detect performance issues. Ability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong executional capabilities. Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and system integration.
Overview / Summary: Oversee application development, modification, and maintenance within the Technology department. Monitor system applications, ensure system stability, and document findings and solutions. Lead software development initiatives and support continuous system improvement.
Responsibilities: Oversee development and installation of new hardware and software. Provide recommendations to management on processes and techniques to improve work operations. Install and configure systems and software. Test installed software for malfunction detection. Identify and resolve business systems issues. Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems. Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems. Develop and implement strategies to improve systems. Monitor and test system performance. Oversee the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency. Maintain full ownership of assigned processes. Act as a procedural expert when required.
