Full Stack Level II - React, Node, TypeScript, JavaScript (Remote in Mexico)

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer II to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications that deliver exceptional digital experiences. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building modern frontend applications with React, Node.js, and TypeScript while developing robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and contributing throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality full stack applications using modern engineering best practices. Collaborate with local and global engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives. Develop scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven services using Node.js and TypeScript. Build responsive and reusable frontend components using React and modern JavaScript frameworks. Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and infrastructure. Translate business requirements, technical designs, and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code. Write clean, secure, well-documented, and testable code following engineering standards. Design and implement automated unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing. Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices across the team. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Create monitoring dashboards, metrics, alerts, and logging to improve system observability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, QA, and DevOps. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews. Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 3–5 years of professional software development experience. 3–5 years of experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services. 3–5 years of experience building event-driven applications. Strong experience with: Node.js TypeScript React JavaScript (ES6+) Redux Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, and data modeling. Experience designing and developing distributed applications and microservices. Experience working with at least one object-oriented programming language such as: Java Go (Golang) .NET Experience with AWS cloud services such as: Kubernetes (EKS) Lambda DynamoDB ElastiCache (Redis) CloudFormation Experience working with Docker and Linux environments. Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Experience implementing automated testing strategies. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as: New Relic Splunk Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Passion for software engineering, operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS. Experience designing scalable event-driven architectures. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Experience contributing to architecture and technical design discussions.
