Job brief (the rest): We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. This person would be collaborating closely with design team, lead developers (in place), and management team. Would be part of the creative process on this exciting startup company.

Responsibilities
- Combining to develop front end website architecture.
- Some designing of user interactions on web pages.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Requirements & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber, Elm, Vue.JS
- Familiarity with database technology such as Aurora, PostSQL, MongoDB, MySQL
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Salary will be offered on a candidate-by-candidate basis.
This position is requesting to be funded by the Government of Canada under the Innovation, Science, and Economic Development of Canada, Digital Skills for Youth program.
