About the Role
This is a hands-on position where the developer will manage projects from initial scoping through deployment, working directly with operations and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage API integrations across third-party platforms (REST, webhooks, OAuth)
- Build dashboards, reporting tools, and workflow automation systems
- Automate operational processes such as lease renewals, onboarding, and internal reporting
- Develop lightweight portals for internal staff and external users
- Collaborate with operations and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in a modern backend framework (e.g., Python with Flask/Django, Node.js with Express, or similar)
- Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React or Vue preferred)
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, including authentication, pagination, and error handling
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and output
- Ability to work independently and manage projects end-to-end - Strong communication skills with the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with property management or real estate platforms (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 APIs, PowerShell, or Azure services
- Experience with webhook-based or event-driven architectures
