Job ID: Required Travel: No TravelManagerial: NoLocation: Mexico - Guadalajara (AM)Company OverviewLooking for a Software Support and Development Engineer, responsible for providing best-in-class technical support to a general customer base.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attentive to customer questions.Self‐motivated, able to work with minimal guidance and supervision, someone who will take ownership on customer requests until closure.Maintains ownership of the resolution of complex technical problems, including debugging, simulations, identifying bugs, tool and script development for problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and reproduction.ResponsibilitiesInvestigate, debug, and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds, and verify changes to ensure continued operability of the software solution.Demonstrate continuous improvements and increased efficiency to the software or business processes utilizing software engineering tools, innovative techniques and reuse of existing solutions.Contribute to meeting SLAs and KPIs such as responsiveness, resolution, and software quality.Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance understanding of customer problems, and verify that an appropriate resolution has been applied.Work in a production support environment, troubleshoot production issues on outage calls, multitask and resolve issues with speed.Take ownership to research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve issues with code fixes.Collaborate and work with others as a team.Provide on‐call weekend support on a rotational basis at least once a month.Provide extended support during weekdays as required.Contribute to meeting various SLA's and critical metrics to guarantee that tasks are completed on time and delivery timelines meet quality targets.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Science, IT, Computer Science or equivalent.3+ years experience with Angular.3+ years experience with Spring Boot.3+ years experience with Java.Experience with Tomcat (installation and configuration).3+ years Oracle SQL and MSSQL scripting expertise, able to create and update procedures and SQL.3+ years Linux shell scripting expertise for production issue handling, automation and alert setup.Nice to have: Azure DevOps experience.Nice to have: OMS knowledge (especially for internal moves).
