Who You Are
You are a Mid-to-Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who is comfortable owning features end to end across a modern React frontend and polyglot backend services in Node.js, C#, and Python. You are confident operating in a cloud-native AWS environment and bring a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset to a fast-moving Workpapers engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain full stack features across a React frontend and Node.js, C#, and Python backend services
- Develop and maintain data layers using PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS, including Lambda, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFront, and ALB
- Write and maintain automated tests using Jest and Playwright to protect release quality
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
- Collaborate with the Workpapers team and Bloomberg stakeholders to translate requirements into working software
What You Bring
- 4+ years of professional full stack software development experience
- Hands-on experience building frontend applications with React
- Backend development experience across Node.js, C#, and Python
- Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Practical experience with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFront, and ALB
- Testing experience with Jest and Playwright
- Experience with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced English (C1), spoken and written, for direct collaboration with US-based teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
