We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java + TypeScript) to provide technical leadership and enhance software systems essential for Data Center planning.
As a Lead, you will oversee complex features, mentor team members, and spearhead the development of scalable, high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor a team of engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration
- Collaborate with world-class engineers, architects, and product managers to design scalable, high-performance platforms for external customers
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges, breaking down requirements into actionable plans
- Communicate regularly with clients to gather requirements, present progress, and provide strategic technical insights
- Analyze, design, implement, build, test, and support software solutions throughout the development lifecycle
- Lead planning, estimation, and technical discussions to align the team's efforts with product and project goals
- Develop clean, maintainable code in Java and TypeScript, ensuring best practices and quality through unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
- Drive modern front-end technology adoption, primarily Angular, React, or Vue, and lead front-end standards evolution
- Ensure continuous improvement of backend database management with SQL while driving performance optimization initiatives
- Facilitate integration and coordination with stakeholders and external systems
- Champion a culture of excellence in a self-governing engineering team with cross-functional collaboration and autonomy
- Prioritize tasks for the team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions while balancing technical and business priorities
Requirements :
- At least 3 years of experience overseeing the full software development lifecycle from analysis to support
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Java
- 2+ years of experience working with modern frontend technology using TypeScript (Angular preferred, or React/Vue)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks, including JUnit 4 and Mockito, with strong guidance capabilities in best practices
- Expertise in SQL for backend database management, with performance tuning and optimization
- Extensive background in JavaScript and TypeScript development with a strong ability to guide others
- Demonstrated capability to lead and manage tasks across a team, ensuring autonomy while delivering critical results
- Exceptional English communication skills (B2+ level) combined with extensive client-facing experience to effectively present technical solutions
Nice to have
- Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and flexibility to guide others in cloud-native solutions
- Showcase of expertise in Google Guice, Protocol Buffers, and Guava with the capability to educate team members in their use
- Practical experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Karma and Jasmine to ensure high-quality UI development
