The Role:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Flyby Robotics, you will build, scale, and fully own a new web application that will be a core part of our software suite. You will work on a wide variety of features, including a responsive and modern UI, multi-user system with authentication and data storage, and cross-device communication. This role is for someone who is motivated by product ownership and working on real-world value.

  • What You’ll Do: Own a new product in the Flyby Robotics software suite.
  • Design and build a web fronted using TypeScript/React and modern web practices.
  • Develop backend services and deploy them in the cloud.
  • Contribute to the overall software goals and current requirements of Flyby Robotics.
  • Core Requirements:3+ years of professional experience as a full stack software engineer.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality code, project ownership, and writing robust tests.
  • Demonstrated competence with version control and code documentation.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Nice to have:Professional experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Understanding of REST, gRPC, GraphQL, MQTT, and Gstreamer.
  • Experience with Deck.gl and Mapbox.
  • History of scaling systems with growing a growing user-base
  • You have a love for robots, drones, and hardware.
  • Compensation and Benefits:$130,000 per year annual salary.
  • 0.25%-0.75% equity via stock options, depending on the candidate's experience.
