Technology plays a huge role in how we simplify complexity, improve decision-making, and deliver great outcomes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to help shape the platforms and solutions that power our business.

The opportunity:

This newly created position will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering high-quality full stack solutions for Project Luma, one of Ando's key strategic initiatives. The project is focused on developing and rolling out intuitive, user-friendly portals that enhance how we connect and work with our broker partners.

This is a true full stack role spanning both front-end and back-end development. However, to complement the strengths of our existing team, we'd be particularly interested in candidates who bring deeper front-end experience and expertise.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working across modern front-end and back-end technologies including Java, React and Spring Boot

  • Contributing to architecture and technical design decisions

  • Reviewing code and supporting engineering best practices

  • Mentoring and coaching other engineers

  • Driving the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes

What you’ll need to succeed:

You'll have significant experience as a Software Engineer or Full Stack Developer, with strong Java development expertise and a proven ability to deliver complex software solutions.

Experience with React and Spring Boot would be a bonus, but we're open to engineers who bring transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

You'll thrive in modern engineering environments that embrace collaboration, agile delivery, and continuous improvement. Experience in insurance or financial services would be advantageous but isn't essential.
