About GMV
If you dream about spending the day on the Moon, but you are one of those who get sick on bendy drives... Your place is here!
At GMV, we develop software that does not stay on the screen: it travels into space. We are looking to expand our full-stack development team working on Satcom Payload Control Systems platforms, responsible for managing and supervising the payload of communication satellites.
This is an opportunity to take part in advanced technological projects where software enables satellites to operate, communicate, and evolve throughout their entire lifecycle.
Your Challenge
You will be part of a cutting-edge environment, collaborating with technical teams from different disciplines and countries. You will participate in the full development lifecycle, gaining an understanding of the system context, contributing to solution design, developing new features, and supporting the software through deployment and operations. All of this takes place within a collaborative framework, where knowledge sharing and learning from the team are part of everyday work.
From a technological standpoint, the role is built on a modern development ecosystem. You will use Node.js and Angular as the core technologies to build full-stack applications, integrated into microservices architectures. These services communicate via RabbitMQ, use MongoDB as the database, and are deployed in environments based on Docker and Kubernetes, aligned with current software development and operations practices.
What We Need in Our Team
Experience or knowledge of Node.js, Angular, microservices architectures, and agile methodologies will be valued, as well as an interest in distributed systems, space-related technology, and a background in software engineering or related fields.
