For one of our clients in the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin) / Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript). In this role, you will be responsible for migrating existing customer-facing pages to a new, modern application architecture. You will work independently within clearly defined frameworks, with the freedom to determine the best approach to implementation. The Lead Engineer will be your primary contact for technical questions and issues.

responsibilities

Migrate existing billing pages for both consumer and business accounts to a new application architecture.
Implement UI components, data endpoints, and model objects as part of the page migration.
Maintain and update task statuses in Jira throughout the entire project.
Participate in a daily 15-minute engineering stand-up to discuss progress and resolve any blockers.
Deliver fully migrated pages that meet functional, quality, and performance requirements.

profile

Senior-level experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on frontend development.
Experience with React, Node.js, Remix, TypeScript, CSS, Tailwind and/or Sass.
Knowledge of HTML, accessibility guidelines, GraphQL, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus is a plus.
Experience with backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Project Reactor, Coroutines, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, or BigQuery is a significant advantage.
Ability to work independently within a structured environment, with a strong focus on quality and deadlines.
