Our Technology Stack
Our cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform runs on AWS. We use Kotlin, Java, SpringBoot, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL on the backend, and ReactJS and TypeScript on the frontend. Our continuous delivery pipeline leverages GitLab.
We use Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana and Grafana as our logging and monitoring stack.

Role Overview
As a software engineer you will participate in the development of different technical areas such as frontend orchestration of iptiQ web solutions using modern web technologies (ReactJS, Redux, MaterialUI, JSS, GraphQL) and highly scalable microservices written in Java and Kotlin. You will own the code‑base, follow best coding practices and actively engage in driving application quality along with test automation engineers, continuously building, inspecting and shaping the product throughout its lifecycle. You will also mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend orchestration using ReactJS, Redux, MaterialUI, JSS, and GraphQL.
- Build and support highly scalable microservices in Java and Kotlin.
- Own the code‑base and enforce high coding standards.
- Collaborate with test automation engineers to drive application quality.
- Participate in continuous integration, delivery and deployment pipelines.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a knowledge‑sharing culture.
- Move fluidly between teams and projects, adapting to the evolving ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Proficient in Kotlin, Java, SpringBoot, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with ReactJS and JavaScript front‑end frameworks.
- Solid understanding of backend microservice development in Java/Kotlin.
- Experience with Node.js and styling technologies (CSS/SCSS, JSS, HTML, styled components).
- High coding standards and familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as React Testing Library and Jest.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Test‑Driven Development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and Back‑end for Front‑end (BFF) concepts.
- Experience using GitLab, Cloudflare and related tools.
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal form; confident in collaborative settings.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and passionate about improving developer experience and software quality.
Compensation and Benefits
For Spain the base salary range for this position is between EUR 42,000 and EUR 70,000 per year for a full‑time role. In addition to base salary you may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus and other rewards.
