A Senior Full Stack Engineer is needed to design and build the backend services and patient-facing applications that power an EHR-integrated care platform.
This role involves working with TypeScript/Node.js and React, deploying microservices on AWS, and contributing to the technical direction of the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations and clinical workflows.
* Deploy and operate microservices on AWS using containerization.
* Build React/TypeScript provider- and patient-facing interfaces optimized for desktop and mobile.
* Develop integrations with patient-education and patient-engagement vendors, including notifications and tracking.
* Contribute to code reviews and system-design discussions, balancing quality with startup speed.
Core Qualifications
* 3 to 5 years of professional experience building production software systems using TypeScript/JavaScript.
* Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP design, concurrency, and distributed systems.
* RESTful or event-driven API development with Node.js (Nest/Express).
* Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript, including mobile and desktop optimization.
* Comfort debugging across distributed services and working agilely in a startup environment.
* Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States; this role is hybrid, with onsite days in Seattle, WA.
Preferred Qualifications
* Healthcare startup or health-data integration background.
* High-throughput messaging platform experience.
* AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud experience.
* Tailwind CSS expertise.
- Work Terms
This is a full-time W-2 employment position based in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid work model requiring two days a week in the office.
Compensation
Hourly compensation ranges from $55 to $75.
