Full Stack Web Developer – WordPress, Shopify, Magento & Joomla

Traffic Radius is looking for a skilled and proactive Full Stack Web Developer who can build, optimise, maintain, and troubleshoot client websites across multiple platforms.

This role is for someone who has already worked in a fast-paced digital marketing agency or similar client-service environment. Someone who understands websites are not just built once — they need to be improved, fixed, updated, optimised, redesigned, and kept running smoothly.

You should be confident working across WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, custom themes, plugins, integrations, hosting, speed optimisation, and website troubleshooting.

You’ll be working on websites for Australian clients across different industries. Some websites will need to be built from scratch. Others will need redesigns, performance improvements, bug fixes, landing pages, eCommerce updates, conversion improvements, or urgent technical support.

This is a hands-on role.

You need to be smart, fast, organised, and technically strong. You should be able to understand client requirements, ask the right questions, work with deadlines, handle revisions, and deliver clean, functional websites without constant supervision.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will design, develop, customise, optimise, and maintain websites across WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce.

You will build responsive, mobile-friendly, SEO-ready websites that are easy to use, fast to load, and aligned with the client’s brand and business goals.

You will convert Figma, Adobe XD, PSD, or design references into fully functional websites, landing pages, eCommerce stores, product pages, campaign pages, and custom website sections.

You will troubleshoot website issues quickly, including broken pages, plugin conflicts, theme errors, form issues, checkout problems, responsive display bugs, tracking issues, speed problems, and backend/frontend errors.

You will also support ongoing website maintenance, updates, backups, migrations, hosting setup, SSL, DNS, security checks, malware fixes, and uptime-related issues.

Most importantly, you will make sure client websites are working, stable, optimised, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain websites using WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce.
  • Develop responsive websites, landing pages, funnels, eCommerce pages, and custom website sections.
  • Customise themes, templates, plugins, modules, and page builders.
  • Convert Figma, Adobe XD, PSD, or brief-based layouts into working websites.
  • Optimise websites for speed, mobile experience, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and conversions.
  • Debug frontend and backend issues across multiple platforms.
  • Fix broken websites, forms, plugins, themes, integrations, checkout issues, and layout problems.
  • Handle urgent technical issues and keep client websites live and functional.
  • Manage website updates, backups, security fixes, malware cleanup, and compatibility checks.
  • Set up and manage hosting, cPanel, WHM, DNS, SSL, Cloudflare, CDN, and website migrations.
  • Integrate APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and other marketing tools.
  • Work closely with SEO, PPC, design, content, and client success teams.
  • Handle client revisions and iterate quickly based on feedback.
  • Manage multiple website tasks, deadlines, support tickets, and project priorities.
  • Document fixes, updates, and technical changes clearly.

Skills & Experience Required

You should have:

  • 3+ years of hands‑on website development experience.
  • Strong experience with WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency or multi-client website environment.
  • Strong backend skills: PHP, MySQL, REST APIs.
  • Experience with custom themes, plugins, modules, page builders, and third‑party integrations.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to quickly fix website errors and keep client websites running.
  • Good understanding of website speed, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, tracking, and conversion-focused website structure.
  • Experience with hosting, cPanel, WHM, DNS, SSL, Cloudflare, backups, migrations, and website security.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into practical website solutions.
  • Strong time management and deadline ownership.
  • Ability to handle multiple revisions without losing quality or momentum.
  • Clear communication and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a digital marketing team.

Tools & Platforms

You should be comfortable working with:

  • WordPress
  • Joomla
  • Shopify
  • WooCommerce
  • Elementor / WPBakery / Divi or similar builders
  • Cloudflare
  • Git / GitHub
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Meta Pixel
  • ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini or other AI tools for development support

This Role Is Best Suited For

This role is best suited for a web developer who has already worked on multiple client websites and understands agency deadlines, client revisions, urgent fixes, and performance expectations.

You should be comfortable building websites from scratch, improving existing websites, debugging issues quickly, and working with different client requirements across industries.

You should be smart‑working, reliable, deadline-focused, and able to take ownership of a website from brief to launch — and beyond.
