Overview
The Senior Full-Stack Web Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end architecture, development, integration, deployment, and continuous improvement of RealPage's enterprise web applications and digital platforms. The role provides technical leadership in building scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions across multiple production websites. Working closely with Product Engineering, Marketing Operations, UX/UI Design, and Web Strategy, the incumbent drives front-end architecture, backend integrations, reusable development standards, and modern web technologies while ensuring platform reliability, maintainability, and business alignment.
Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using modern full-stack technologies (React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP) to support RealPage's portfolio of production web properties.
Design scalable front-end architectures by developing reusable components, templates, shared libraries, and custom plugins that promote consistency, maintainability, and efficient development across multiple platforms.
Develop and maintain backend integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms through RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, authentication protocols, webhooks, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and other SaaS solutions.
Lead complex technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across application layers, resolving front-end, backend, infrastructure, integration, and production issues while implementing long-term technical improvements.
Manage software delivery through the full development lifecycle, including source control, peer code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production releases.
Drive modernization initiatives by evaluating, designing, and implementing headless CMS, composable architecture, and modern web engineering practices that improve scalability, performance, and developer productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Engineering, Marketing, UX/UI Design, Analytics, and Web Strategy to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while effectively communicating technical trade-offs.
Develop technical prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate emerging technologies, product enhancements, architectural improvements, and new customer experiences before production implementation.
Support website optimization initiatives by implementing experimentation frameworks, analytics tagging (GA4, GTM), conversion optimization solutions, and technical enhancements that improve digital performance.
Provide technical leadership and engineering best practices by promoting coding standards, documentation, version control discipline, AI-assisted development practices, mentoring team members, and continuous process improvements.
