Role Overview
The Full-Stack Web and Mobile Developer will lead the development of the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) layer that connects our robots with their operators, fleet managers, and customers. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining an enterprise-level robot fleet management web platform and a mobile application that runs on smartphones and tablets to operate the robots. This position requires strong hands-on experience with state-of-the-art web and mobile development frameworks that communicate with robotic hardware products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the front-end and back-end of the web platform for our robot fleet management.
- Develop and maintain the mobile application that runs on smartphones and tablets to operate the robots.
- Collect and analyze user requirements from customers, the robot deployment team, and the robot software development team for continuous functionality enhancement.
- Improve the current UX/UI design of the web and mobile applications to make them user-friendly and easy to use.
- Collaborate with the robot deployment team for system debugging, validation, and testing.
- Collaborate with the robot software development team to ensure robust, efficient, and secure communication between the robots and the application.
Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile or other software development lifecycles (SDLC).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience across mobile and web.
- Android development in Kotlin (iOS, Objective-C, and Swift are good-to-have).
- Modern web frameworks: React Native/Next.js, TypeScript, Vue 3, and solid HTML and CSS.
- Strong RESTful API and WebSocket integration skills; comfortable with JSON and auth tokens/JWT.
- SQL databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and BaaS platforms such as Supabase.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and mPaaS.
- Java/Spring Boot backend experience (e.g., Shiro, MyBatis-Plus, Redis).
- Experience with Apache Maven (a multi-module project management tool).
- Docker and CI/CD pipeline setup.
- Experience integrating hardware/robot APIs/SDKs.
- Proficient with Git, Linux, and shell scripting.
- Strong ownership and self-direction (you will be the sole maintainer of these apps initially).
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese, Mandarin, and English.
- Experience using AI (e.g., Claude) for rapid prototyping.
- Experience working with outsourced contractors.
