What You’ll Be Doing Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the Full Stack Website Developer is responsible for the ongoing development of the organization’s websites and plays an integral role in supporting the transition to WordPress and AI‑ready digital experiences. This role is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution and reliability of the organization’s websites, ensuring they remain accurate, functional and aligned with business and marketing needs.
The Full Stack Web Developer liaises with Marketing, IT and external vendors to support marketing campaigns, lead generation, functional enhancements and continuous improvement.
Website Delivery, Maintenance & Quality Assurance
Serve as the subject matter expert for the organization’s websites.
Ensure website maintenance, content updates, and functional changes are executed timely and accurately in live production environments.
Support the ongoing evolution of both the Sienna and Aspira brands leveraging WordPress and a marketing‑led web environment.
Complete routine business updates including, but not limited to, disclosures, campaign content, and functional enhancements.
Perform quality assurance checks before and after publishing updates.
Test changes across various platforms, browsers, and devices to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Implement continuous light layout and formatting improvements to enhance readability and usability.
Ensure website updates align with accessibility and compliance standards (e.g., WCAG/AODA), escalating issues or gaps as required.
Identify and resolve broken links, layout issues, content errors, and functional issues.
WordPress Optimization & AI readiness
Implement and maintain WordPress best practices related to structure and performance.
Assist with structure content, semantic markup and schema updates.
Ensure web pages are structured to support both traditional search and AI‑driven, answer‑based discovery.
Content Management System (CMS) & Technical Platform Support
Provide ongoing CMS support within established WordPress and Kentico environments.
Perform page‑level and light template‑level edits, including front‑end and backend code changes, as required.
Follow documented workflows, publishing, and release processes.
Troubleshoot issues and escalate platform limitations or more complex technical issues to IT or external vendors, as required.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Marketing stakeholders to implement technical and functional improvements that support AI readiness and future automation.
Liaise with IT and external vendors on access, hosting, integrations, and related requirements.
Support ongoing website update requests from key stakeholders across the organization.
Liaise with IT on website security updates and related requirements.
Maintain documentation and communicate progress, risks, and status updates.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years of experience in web development and/or website support.
Experience working in a regulated environment considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications, standards, and best practices.
Experience working within CMS platforms in live production environments, including regular website updates.
Strong working knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience supporting custom WordPress themes, plugins, and backend functionality considered an asset.
Working knowledge of databases and backend concepts considered an asset.

Salary Range:
$64,201 to $80,252. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
