Overview
Maize, the innovation design studio of JAKALA, supports organizations in strategic and system‑level transformations. We combine collective intelligence with multidisciplinary expertise to design digital solutions that address real client needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (designers, content experts, strategists, developers) to develop innovative digital solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of digital products and services that meet customer needs.
- Experiment with AI tools to write better, safer, and faster code.
- Participate in research and development projects (R&D) and frontier technology labs.
- Analyze, test, and improve developed solutions, providing concrete ideas and proposals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in a back‑end programming language and/or a modern front‑end development framework.
- Strong research and experimentation mindset for new tools, technologies, and languages.
- Curiosity about AI coding tools to accelerate development and create prototypes.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
Preferred Skills
- Interest in Creative Coding (e.g., Three.js, WebGL, shaders, TouchDesigner).
- Curiosity about Digital Sustainability (Green Coding and web performance).
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- Knowledge of modern web development practices (Mobile First, PWA, etc.).
- Understanding of security, data protection, and data management principles.
