Fullstack Developer (React, Java, BigQuery)

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack TypeScript applications.

·       Build modern frontend applications using React, with Vue experience also acceptable.

·       Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.

·       Work with databases and data platforms such as GCP BigQuery, MariaDB, or SQLite to support application and data requirements.

·       Translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions.

·       Support code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production fixes.

Required Skills

·       3-8 years of professional software development experience.

·       Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript full-stack development.

·       Experience with React or Vue for frontend development, with React preferred.

·       Working knowledge of Java Spring Boot for backend service development.

·       Fundamental knowledge of Python.

·       Experience with at least one of GCP BigQuery, MariaDB, or SQLite.

·       Good understanding of modern software engineering practices.

·       Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable working independently.

Preferred Skills

·       Good understanding of data modeling and data engineering concepts.

·       Experience in the banking industry.

·       Prior HSBC experience is highly preferred.

Role Details

·       Location: Hong Kong, 3 days onsite per week
