The Role
Join Zenitech as a Principal Fullstack Software Engineer, contributing your skills to high-impact projects within a collaborative, multicultural team.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about designing and implementing modern applications with complex business logic, supporting and mentoring teammates, and integrating new technologies in innovative ways.
What you will do
- Support multiple teams in setting technical direction
- Influence the engineering culture of the teams. Focus on continuous learning, improvement, and collaboration
- Mentor and coach the cross-functional team and individuals
- Design, code, review, and test assigned features and user stories, in accordance with the agile methodology
- Collaborate with the product owners in the analysis and documentation of technical requirements and user stories
- Influence the design of the future state of the product, designing and delivering prototypes, especially for back-end components
- Produce high-level technical design artefacts for major stories
- Create high-quality operational and system documentation as required
- Communicate effectively with other development teams, production operations, and several other technology groups, to ensure regular smooth delivery of working software to production
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a hands-on development role at a commercial software company
- Expertise in designing and implementing distributed enterprise software solutions
- Experience with event-base architectures, messaging patterns and microservices
- Knowledge of .Net Core and Angular (Angular 7+ may be a big plus)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with at least one CI/CD system
- Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and Helm charts
- Successfully manage own workload, and take personal responsibility and ownership for delivery, behaviors, and self-improvement
- Experience in mentoring and technical interviewing
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM/Lean software development
