Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support an architectural assessment of a Claims, Encounters, and Financials (CEF) platform. This role is focused on source artifact analysis, system behavior observation, and LLM-assisted analysis support — providing the technical depth needed to translate existing code, configurations, logs, and documentation into meaningful architectural findings. The ideal candidate is a seasoned full stack engineer with strong backend architecture knowledge, hands-on experience across distributed systems, cloud platforms, and and modern React-based frontends and the ability to analyze complex system artifacts and identify patterns, anomalies, and architectural risks. This person bridges the gap between raw technical artifacts and architecture-level conclusions, working closely with the senior architects to validate findings and support the production of evidence-based deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze source code, configuration files, deployment artifacts, logs, and system documentation to identify architectural patterns, risks, and inefficiencies
Support LLM-assisted analysis activities including architecture pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and summarization of existing artifacts — subject to approved tooling and data handling requirements Review React-based frontend codebases to assess application structure, state management patterns, API consumption, error handling, and performance considerations
Observe and document system behavior through available artifacts, logs, and interface specifications to support root cause analysis of instability, performance degradation, and error handling gaps
Assist in mapping application components, dependencies, and integration touchpoints to support the integration dependency map and batch dependency diagrams
Contribute technical findings to the Current State Assessment across application, backend, and infrastructure domains
Support the Senior Architects in validating technical findings, cross-referencing artifacts, and identifying evidence gaps
Review and summarize existing documentation including batch schedules, interface specifications, and database schemas to accelerate discovery
Assist in identifying observability gaps, including logging coverage, retention, and granularity limitations that may affect root cause confidence
Ensure all LLM-assisted outputs are reviewed for accuracy and compliance before contributing to any deliverable
Requirements
Required Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend and distributed systems
Strong experience with full stack development across cloud platforms, REST APIs, microservices, and databases
Hands-on experience analyzing complex codebases, system logs, and configuration artifacts in enterprise environments
Experience with observability tooling, structured logging, and system monitoring patterns
Strong understanding of messaging systems, caching, and API design patterns in distributed architectures
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment artifact analysis
Ability to synthesize technical findings clearly in written form for consumption by senior architects and leadership
Familiarity with LLM-assisted analysis tools and responsible AI usage practices in controlled environments
Frontend: React Backend: REST APIs, microservice
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on large-scale .NET systems in healthcare or regulated environments
Familiarity with batch processing systems, job orchestration tools, or ETL pipeline analysis
Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and ECS/EKS relevant to artifact and log analysis
Exposure to database performance analysis, query review, or schema assessment
Experience contributing to architecture assessments, technical due diligence, or system modernization discovery engagements
Familiarity with security patterns including RBAC, token-based authentication, and secrets management
