Fullstack Engineer: PHP + Angular (On-site in Medellín)

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our core development team. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable solutions that power our global platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end features using Symfony / PHP on our environment.
- Develop responsive and interactive front-end user interfaces using Angular and jQuery.
- Manage and optimize relational databases, including writing efficient queries against Postgres and Amazon RDS.1
- Work within our cloud infrastructure, interacting with AWS EC2 / Load Balancers and utilizing services like ElastiCache / Redis / Memcached for performance.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, from planning in Jira / Confluence to CI/CD using Jenkins.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure-as-code principles using Terraform.
- Utilize monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Datadog, and Raygun to maintain application health.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven expertise in PHP development, preferably with the Symfony framework.
- Solid understanding of modern front-end frameworks, specifically Angular and jQuery.
- Experience with relational databases, including Postgres.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins and version control using Bitbucket.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing mobile applications using Angular with Ionic / Capacitor for iOS and Android deployment.
- Knowledge of containerization and advanced AWS services.
- Familiarity with external services such as Cloudflare, SendGrid / Twilio, and BI tools like Metabase.
