Are you a skilled freelance PHP engineer interested in a new long-term project in Brussels?
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PHP-based back-end services and REST APIs
- Integrate with internal banking systems (core banking, payment gateways, identity services)
- Ensure code meets security and compliance standards relevant to the financial sector (e.g. GDPR, PCI-DSS awareness)
- Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation
Your Skillset
- 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
- Strong knowledge of modern PHP (8.x), OOP principles, and MVC frameworks (Laravel or Symfony preferred)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and query optimisation
