Job Summary :

- Lead the design and architecture of new features and projects.
- Collaborate closely with engineering peers and stakeholders across teams.
- Establish and enforce best practices for a healthy and sustainable codebase.
- Participate in and support code reviews, testing strategies, and pair programming sessions.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
- Identify and resolve roadblocks to team productivity and drive prioritization of impactful work.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Advanced experience as a Full Stack Developer using Ruby on Rails and React.
- Deep understanding of automated testing and testing strategies.
- Recognized as a go-to expert within your team or organization.
- Effective communicator and team collaborator.
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Role-specific Requirements :
- Strong commitment to high-quality code and test coverage (RSpec is especially important).
- Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright (Cypress being phased out).
- Experience with system design and architectural decisions.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and coaching engineering talent.
- Availability to work with a schedule that aligns closely with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
