Responsibilities :
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
This is a hands-on senior position where you will influence architectural decisions, mentor team members, and ensure best practices are followed across the stack.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of both frontend and backend systems.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows.
- Work in cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration between frontend, backend, and external systems.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience as a Fullstack Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend development.
- Advanced knowledge of Angular and TypeScript for frontend development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integrations, and microservice-oriented design.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices (RSpec, Jasmine, Jest, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical excellence and delivery speed.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Experience working with Agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban).
