About the Role
We are looking for a Fullstack Software Developer with a focus on backend development, strong architectural understanding, and a genuine interest in applying AI-driven approaches to modern software development.
You will join the team responsible for building and maintaining Orchestra — the core platform behind Qmatic’s customer journey management solutions. This is a foundational system that powers both customer-facing and staff-facing applications used to orchestrate and manage customer journeys at scale.
Our current Orchestra platform is primarily built in Java, using a combination of Spring, Spring Boot, and Java EE. It supports multiple relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server, and is deployed across both on-premises and hosted environments. For customers with higher resilience or latency requirements, we also operate distributed deployments of core services.
As part of Qmatic’s next growth phase, the team is focused on modernizing the platform into a next-generation foundation for customer journeys management. This includes evolving the architecture, improving scalability and maintainability, and introducing AI-assisted engineering practices to improve development efficiency, system quality, and time-to-market.
We are looking for engineers who have worked on backend systems where changes are not trivial, and where decisions need to balance performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
