What you will bring to the team
You'll be working alongside other experienced engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our platform.
What you will be doing
Participate in the requirements, design, development, and test/debug client code using Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS and Vue Java Script
Resolve unit, functional and field defects
Resolve typical technical challenges requiring a moderate to complex scope of domain and discipline knowledge
Interface with internal and external teams to ensure alignment of deliverables
Work directly within the development team and stakeholders to help with existing requirements, adhere to timelines, and meet deliverables
Required qualifications
~ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
~6+ years professional experience in Java software development
~ Computer science fundamentals in object‐oriented design
~ Computer science fundamentals in data structures
~ Computer science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
~ Deep technical skills in web development technologies (HTML5, Java Script, CSS, XML/JSON)
~ Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Preferred Skills
Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Knowledge of professional software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience with distributed computing and enterprise‐wide systems
Hands‐on expertise in many disparate technologies, ranging from front‐end user interfaces through to back‐end systems and all points in between
