Fullstack Software Engineer - Java Spring Boot - Angular (Barcelona)
Overview

Join our expert team to work on a modern digital platform, contributing to the development of end-to-end features across front‑end and back‑end layers. You will apply your knowledge of Java Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs and microservices architectures to deliver scalable, maintainable and high‑quality applications.
You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build solutions aligned with modern engineering and architectural standards. Alongside your direct manager, you will receive support from a godparent—helping you navigate practical and administrative aspects during the first six months—and from a mentor who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI with regular 1:1 meetings and a personalized development plan.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end features across frontend and backend layers using Angular and Java Spring Boot. This includes building and consuming REST APIs that follow Open API standards, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability. You will collaborate with DevOps, Architecture and Product teams to deliver high‑quality solutions and continuously improve development practices within an Agile environment. When a project ends, we align you with another opportunity that supports your professional growth.
Qualifications
- Strong experience developing backend applications with Java and Spring Boot
- Solid experience with Angular or similar modern front‑end frameworks
- Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs and Open API specifications
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines
- Understanding of microservices architectures and willingness to take ownership of end-to-end features
