ROLE SUMMARY

Hands-on delivery engineer responsible for building the Masking Request Portal - a focused, purpose-built web application that is the front door to the ISR.13 masking automation. Works under the technical direction of the Managing Consultant and alongside the Python Automation Engineer.

Owns the end-to-end workflow experience:

• A requester submits a masking request.
• The request is routed for operational approval and mapping confirmation.
• The automated masking is triggered.
• The output is reviewed and approved.
• Status and masked columns are returned to the requester through the same interface.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in discovery sessions to confirm the intake-to-feedback workflow and the screens, fields, and states the Portal requires.
• Build the Masking Request Portal web UI through which a requester submits a masking request and tracks its status.
• Implement the operational approval and mapping-confirmation steps within the workflow (approve the request, confirm the mapping, review and approve the output).
• Integrate the Portal with the masking pipeline so an approved request triggers the automated masking and receives status back.
• Return status and the final masked-column results to the requester through the Portal, closing the intake-to-feedback loop.
• Develop the supporting back-end services, APIs, and data persistence behind the Portal.
• Build the reporting views that surface masking run status and the masking report.
• Iterate the Portal design and implementation across the Dev and UAT phases in collaboration with the client.
• Migrate and validate the Portal from lab environments to client non-production and production infrastructure.
• Contribute to operational runbooks and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies - stand-ups, sprint demos, and retrospectives.

PREFERRED

• Experience building internal tools, request portals, or workflow / approval applications.
• Experience integrating with data platforms or automation back-ends via API.
• UX sensibility for clean, form-driven internal applications.
• Experience in regulated environments (financial services, GDPR).
• Client-facing professional services delivery experience.
