The Role — Full-Stack Engineer What you’ll do Implement features across the App Router stack — API route handlers, repositories, and React UI — within established patterns. Contribute to our Python services — FastAPI/Flask endpoints and cron/queue workers — under guidance. Write SQL queries and contribute to schema changes, with review on the trickier data-access and permissions logic. Fix bugs across the stack and learn the system by shipping real, used code. Write tests for what you build and keep documentation current.
What we’re looking for 2–3 years building software (internships and strong personal/open-source projects count toward the lower end). Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and React fundamentals. Solid Python fundamentals — comfortable working in a Python backend (FastAPI/Flask exposure a plus), or a fast learner who’s shipped real Python. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Comfortable with Git — branching, commits, and pull requests in a team workflow. Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn from code review — you ask good questions and don’t ship blindly.
Nice to have Next.js or another server-rendered React framework. Any exposure to Supabase/PostgreSQL, Redis, or cloud infra (Azure/AWS/GCP). Interest in working near AI/LLM features. Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router), React, TypeScript Backend (TypeScript): Next.js route handlers (repository pattern) Backend (Python): FastAPI + Pydantic microservices, Flask (AI + reporting), Azure Functions & queue-driven cron workers Data: PostgreSQL (Supabase) — RPC, Realtime, Row-Level Security, AI: LLMs via OpenRouter / OpenAI / Anthropic; embeddings + semantic search Infra: Azure (Blob Storage, Cache for Redis), Docker, Kubernetes Tooling & quality: Git + GitHub (PR-based workflow), Jest, ESLint, typed end-to-end, CI on every PR
