The Caring Place (@Miami Rescue Mission & Broward Outreach Centers) is a leading provider of services to the homeless and needy of South Florida. We are looking for like-minded, dynamic individuals to come and join our team. The Caring Place provides emergency shelter, residential programs, job training, education & computer literacy classes, healthcare, transitional housing, permanent housing, employment opportunities for homeless men, women, and children as well as programs for "at-risk" youth.
We are currently seeking a PT Gift In Kind Processor at The Caring Place Center of Men in Miami, FL.
Job Summary
The Gift-in-Kind Processor (GIKP) reports to the Community Development Manager and is responsible for processing Gift-in-Kind (GIK) donations while assisting with special projects as assigned.
Primary responsibilities include physically collecting Gift-in-Kind donation tickets and processing donated items such as clothing, food, household goods, and other in-kind contributions. The GIKP is also responsible for reconciling all Gift-in-Kind receipts provided by the Donation Sorters, batching donations, and maintaining accurate donor records to ensure all information is complete and up to date.
Additional duties include maintaining an accurate Gift-in-Kind inventory spreadsheet, supporting inventory control, and providing general administrative and operational support to the Community Development Department.
