The consultants will be responsible for standing up new platforms, assessing the current environments, developing migration strategies and runbooks, executing migrations, validating production readiness, and supporting operational handoff. These are hands-on migration architecture roles, not administration or project management positions.
1. GitHub & Microsoft Azure DevOps Migration Architect
What they'll be doing
- Stand up a new GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps environment.
- Assess existing repositories, pipelines, permissions, branching strategies, and integrations.
- Design the future-state repository structure and migration approach.
- Migrate repositories, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps projects, pipelines, and related configurations.
- Create migration runbooks, validation plans, and production cutover documentation.
- Coordinate migration activities across DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and Product teams.
Ideal Candidate
Someone who has already led GitHub Enterprise or Azure DevOps platform migrations.
