Full-time / Half-time Program Worker (Ref: PW/0.5PW - OTEM)
(Working Locations: Districts in Hong Kong Island, the Outlying Islands and Kwun Tong)
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and implementation of outreach services, group activities and programs for ethnic minority individuals and families in the community and the center;
- Perform administrative duties;
- Promote services, build community connections and recruit ethnic minority individuals and families;
- Shift duty is required, including Saturdays, Sundays and nights;
- The working hours are an average of 44 hours per week for full-time position and 22 hours per week for part-time position.
Requirements:
- HKDSE/HKCEE or above, with relevant experience in community service or program coordination is preferred;
- Proven experience in organizing activities and events;
- Proficient in computer application, including Microsoft Office;
- Proficiency in English and in a minority language such as Urdu, Hindi or Nepali;
- Ability to communicate in basic Chinese is an advantage.
