At Lab37 we hire builders, people who are wired to create, troubleshoot, and improve systems as a default behavior, not just a job description. The signal we look for is genuine craft: candidates who can explain why they prefer certain tools, processes, or technologies because they’ve used them enough to develop informed opinions, not borrowed ones. We also value humility and learning velocity, actively seeking feedback and adapting quickly to new information.
What You’ll DoAs a Hardware Test Engineer at Lab37 Robotics, you will design, execute, and automate tests that prove out our system per NSF requirements and are reliable, durable in real kitchens. You’ll translate food safety standards and operational best practices into clear test requirements, build fixtures and rigs (often with Raspberry Pi/Arduino or similar), and instrument systems with temperature, humidity, and other environmental sensors. Your work will uncover failure modes, validate component lifecycles, and drive design improvements that elevate product quality and guest experience.
