Job Title: Healthcare Java Full-stack Developer
Location: Toronto , ON (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)
Client: Public Sector
Pay Rate: CAD $95-100 per hour

Must Have:

Prepare and present analysis to support component design using models, etc. to the project team
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) or other Cloud Technologies (Open shift, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.…)
Experience in one or more programming languages including but not limited to:

Java
JavaScript ES6+
Spring Framework
Quarkus
Angular 9+
Angular Material
Drools
TypeScript
SQL
Node.js
HTML5

Knowledge of standards for health care data exchange, in particular Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR):

Technical Skills:

Experience in programming and analysis at the specified experience level
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) or other Cloud Technologies (Open shift, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.…)
Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools
Experience in one or more programming languages including but not limited to:

Java
JavaScript ES6+
Spring Framework
Quarkus
Angular 9+
Angular Material
Drools
TypeScript
SQL
Node.js
HTML5

Experience with one or both of the following web service standards: Representational State Transfer (REST)
Knowledge of standards for health care data exchange, in particular Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR):

HAPI FHIR (nice to have)
Smile CDR (nice to have)

Experience with relational, hierarchical, and non-relational (document-oriented) database technologies: PostgreSQL
Experience with one or more communications protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, TCP/IP)

Programming skills:

Experience in analysis and design (including the use of UML to model solutions), code, test, debug, and documenting applications
Experience in User Interface development with a focus on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
Experience in programmatically assembling PDF and Word Documents. (nice to have)

General Skills

Experience proactively identifying and communicating potential issues and risk events before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed, through the DADS SADIE Development Team Lead and/or the DADS IT Project Manager
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to be a team player with a trach record for meeting deadlines
