The Mid-Level Fullstack Developer independently designs and maintains component libraries, manages complex application state, and performs comprehensive system integration. This role includes cross-team collaboration, mentoring junior colleagues, accurate project estimation, and translating client needs into technical specifications while maintaining transparent stakeholder communication.

Core Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Create components for others to use with clear interfaces and comprehensive documentation.
Use best practices consistently.
Address technical debt issues in local environments, assist junior colleagues, and document solutions.
Detect refactoring needs and discern the worth of refactoring efforts.
Create meaningful logging with proper error handling without occluding information.
Identify API needs and communicate requirements effectively to the team.
Identify and fix performance bottlenecks using memoization, virtualization, and debouncing concepts.
Work with frameworks and libraries, solving problems with minimal assistance.
Manage complex state using tools like Redux or Zustand, understanding Context vs State tradeoffs.
Proficient in mobile/tablet/desktop adaptability
Own implementation of full views with precise detail and pixel-perfect accuracy.
Knowledge of secure design principles including authentication, encryption, and secrets handling.
Design and implement APIs with evolution, compatibility, and versioning strategies.
Understand and debug bounded async workflows ensuring reliability, retries, and idempotency.
Understand how to create efficient database schemas and indexes, queries optimization techniques, and manage migrations.
Understand how to build scalable components and architectures.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

Come prepared to daily meetings with clear, relevant communication and frequently present at weekly meetings.
Ensure team compliance and help maintain regulatory standards.
Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and spot technical issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow up on shared issues effectively.

Stakeholder & Project Management:

Maintain open, transparent communication and help organize meeting documentation.
Ensure acceptance coverage and evaluate impact on other components, participating in acceptance criteria creation.
Ensure quality of all deliverables and communicate proactively about potential deadline issues.
Estimate tasks accurately considering complexity, impact, and testing time while breaking down features.
Handle urgent situations effectively, prioritizing tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Generate technical documentation including runbooks, release notes, and technical specifications.

Product & Strategic Contribution:

Anticipate client needs and prioritize based on business value.
Translate client needs into clear technical or functional specifications for team members.
Identify areas for technical or product optimization based on usage patterns.
Validate requirements alignment with user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in fullstack web development.
Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks and state management.
Proficiency in backend technologies and database systems.
Experience with API design, implementation, and integration patterns.
Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Experience with testing strategies including unit, integration, and E2E testing.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for both frontend and backend.
Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles.
