Main Activities
Properly qualify products under USMCA/T‐MEC for inter‐company and customer exports and run an annual solicitation campaign, aiming to 100% response rate.
Ensure all necessary documentation is retained to support certifications of origin issuance and refound projects, adhering to Regal Rexnord's Record Keeping internal process.
Carry out the determination of the origin of the products and have the supporting information for its determination.
Stay informed about business projects and import‐export operation changes to identify potential risks affecting the certification of origin process.
Maintain an evergreen database of all imported and exported material numbers to include HTS classification, Country of Origin and USMCA qualification indicator to share with brokers and freight forwarders and for proper declaration to the authorities.
Responsible for executing and submitting the monthly reports and complying with the Submaquila obligations (register new vendors, etc.).
Adopt Regal Rexnord's safety culture, clean working environment, life‐saving rules, and daily 6 S+ requirements to ensure a zero‐incident culture.
Perform all job functions with adherence to Regal Rexnord's Philosophy & Values.
Create and maintain standard processes documentation, such as Working Instructions & Standard Works.
Lead meetings with stakeholders and demonstrate active participation in internal meetings & trainings.
Drive continuous improvement using tools and activities including the Regal Business System (RBS).
Proactively identify potential issues and effectively involve TC Supervisor and TC Manager to drive solution; handle routine escalations.
Required Education / Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Commerce (LIN, LCI, LRI) or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with FTA programs and systems (Prisma, One Source, strongly preferred).
Knowledge of the IMMEX Decree legal framework, general customs rules and customs law in Mexico.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
Experience with root cause analysis methodologies and data‐stage analysis of customs reports.
Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Results‐focused and able to effectively problem‐solve and deliver on objectives.
Strong attention to detail, dependable and organized.
Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced, fast‐growth, constantly changing environment.
Excellent follow‐up and follow‐through skills.
Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time.
Knowledge of U. S. and MEX customs regulations and other governmental agencies.
Experience with maquiladora regulations and compliance.
