Informatica Platform Engineer/Admin ( need a blend of admin an engineering)
LOCAL TO DALLAS, TX (HYBRID 3 DAYS ONSITE)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT industry
- 4+ years of experience working as Administrator for Informatica Data Quality and/or Informatica Data Integration Hub platforms in 24*7 global environment. This includes but limited to installation, configuration, upgrade and on-going Administration activities.
- Good to have experience Administering Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange products.
- Intermediate level experience with Linux shell scripting.
- Experienced in collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams (Developers, Testers, Network Engineers, Linux Administrators, Storage Engineers, and Database Administrators).
- Excellent problem management and troubleshooting skills. Must have ability to lead activities for isolating issues and steer investigations in right direction depending upon logs/patterns/scenarios.
Topics that the manager will go over please be prepared to talk about the following:
- Administering Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange products
- Intermediate level experience with Linux shell scripting.
RECENTLY PASSED ON THE PREVIOUS INERVIEW
Passing. He has done ETL development as well as support work involving Informatica PowerCenter / ETL.
He has not worked in Platform Engineering / Administration activities capacity. Therefore, he won't be a fit for my team.
