Job Description

We're looking for an Infrastructure & Security Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers Connected-Stories — someone who brings AI into their everyday workflow as naturally as they bring Terraform or Git. This role combines hands-on Cloud Operations with strong cybersecurity ownership and full responsibility for our CI/CD pipelines.

We're looking for a smart, result-oriented engineer who thinks analytically, automates relentlessly, and uses AI tools to move faster without cutting corners.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Cloud infrastructure (primarily Google Cloud Platform) based on business and product requirements
• Own security hardening across the infrastructure: IAM policies, network security, vulnerability management, audit logging, and incident response
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines end-to-end
• Automate and optimize application availability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and alerting
• Promote, develop, and supervise Cloud networking solutions
• Produce detailed technical specifications for Cloud infrastructure setups
• Drive automation initiatives to improve platform scalability and availability
• Coordinate technical problem resolution and monitor issues through to full resolution
• Provide resource estimations for infrastructure development
• Maintain and periodically test our Disaster Recovery solution
• Build resilient, self-scaling systems — so the team can sleep through the night
• Bring AI coding assistants and agentic workflows into daily engineering practice — writing infra-as-code, debugging, triaging incidents, and automating repetitive work
• Supervise and double-check the configuration of development environments and project architecture, cooperating with software architects to support their design choices
• Champion a DevOps and security-first culture within the team, and act as an advocate for practical AI adoption across the organization
