Engineering Leader
Raytheon EO/IR Solutions is seeking an engineering leader with a strong background in production and sustainment programs, specifically in Multi-Spectral Target Systems (MTS). The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in hardware sustainment across multiple programs and demonstrate the ability to lead cross-discipline engineering teams in a high-tempo environment. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Factory Management, and Operations teams.
The primary responsibilities include overseeing and prioritizing daily activities for Electrical, Mechanical, and Reliability Engineers, supporting multiple MTS variants across sustainment and development programs. The candidate will lead troubleshooting efforts on deliverable products, verify and validate component performance to specifications, and drive design and process improvements to sustain and enhance hardware performance. The candidate will collaborate closely with the software engineering team to ensure the timely availability of assets required to support software development schedules. This position also involves mentoring engineers, ensuring the successful implementation of technical solutions, and providing leadership for field and factory sustainment activities. The candidate will be responsible for driving improvements, maintaining cost and schedule objectives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to meet program and factory goals.
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
