NATECH is seeking an experienced Task Manager to support our Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This dual role position combines day-to-day program task execution with active participation in proposal development. The ideal candidate brings deep mission knowledge, proven ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder tasks, and the writing acumen to translate technical and operational solutions into compelling, compliant proposals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned tasks in support of IC/DoD contracts, ensuring delivery on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers on day-to-day task order activities.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), task trackers, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Manage and coordinate resources, personnel assignments, and sub-contractor activities across concurrent tasks.
  • Facilitate program reviews, IPTs, and technical exchange meetings (TEMs); produce action items and briefing materials.
  • Monitor and report on program performance metrics (cost, schedule, technical) and escalate issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with contract deliverables, CDRLs, and applicable government regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Drive program growth by identifying new customer requirements, supporting capture and proposal activities, expanding existing task orders, and maintaining exceptional customer relationships that position the company for follow-on work
  • Lead or support proposal development for new business, task order competitions, and re-competes across IC/DoD customers.
  • Author and edit technical volumes, management volumes, and past performance narratives per RFP/RFQ instructions.
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with government program offices, contracting officers (KOs), and CORs.
  • Own program financial performance, including revenue, funding burn, labor utilization, invoicing and profitability.
  • Develop staffing forecasts and monitor contract ceilings, funding modifications, and remaining obligated funding.
  • Manage recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention.
  • Directly supervise and mentor program staff
  • Coordinate security issues with the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO).

Requirements


  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Intelligence Studies, Systems Engineering, Political Science, or related).
  • 5+ years of experience supporting IC or DoD programs in a task management, program management, or operations role.
  • 3+ years of proposal writing experience on government contracts, including full life-cycle proposal support.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and IC procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project); experience with SharePoint and collaboration tools.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical content and produce clear, persuasive written narratives under deadline pressure.
  • Excellent verbal communication and briefing skills; comfortable presenting to senior government officials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, or All-Source Intelligence programs.
  • Familiarity with JCIDS, DAS, or IC acquisition frameworks.
  • Shipley or APMP proposal methodology training/certification.
  • Experience with proposal management
  • Proficient with generative AI tools (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
