This role is a critical member of the Capital Projects team, serving as the central point of coordination between the owner, EPC partner, OEM equipment suppliers, engineering teams, and construction teams to keep complex industrial projects moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end management of Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring technical questions are submitted, tracked, resolved, and documented in a timely manner.
- Serve as a key point of coordination among engineering disciplines, vendors, and project execution teams to support successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for technical questions, interfaces, action items, and project documentation.
- Facilitate technical meetings and workshops to resolve design issues, coordinate cross-functional activities, and align project objectives.
- Work closely with document control and engineering personnel to ensure proper routing, version control, and retention of project records.
- Identify and communicate risks that may affect project schedule, budget, quality, or scope.
- Support the development and implementation of project management processes, procedures, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful integration of project deliverables.
- Prepare regular status reports for leadership, highlighting progress, key issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and commissioning of capital projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting capital projects within manufacturing, chemical, oil & gas, or other heavy industrial environments. They will bring a strong background in engineering/interface coordination, with experience managing RFIs, technical documentation, and engineering deliverables.
