At ANVIL, you'll play a key role in the application security program under the guidance of a Senior Application Security Engineer. This full-time position is designed for someone early in their security career with 2-4 years of experience in application security or related fields. You will work with cutting-edge AppSec tools like SAST and DAST while ensuring vulnerability management processes and security practices are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain AppSec tooling for secure development
• Triage vulnerability findings and drive remediation
• Participate in threat modeling sessions
• Assist in secure SDLC practices and code reviews
• Document findings and support incident response initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
• Eligible for Government of Canada security clearance
• Hands-on experience with AppSec tools
• Familiarity with secure software development practices
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows security environments
