Requirements:

• This role requires full-time office presence in Cape Town.
• 4–5 years experience working as a frontend developer or engineer
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience working with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Experience working in an English speaking environment
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI/Product designers

Skills:

• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience with state management (e.g. Redux, Vuex, NgRx)
• Familiarity with module bundlers and build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite)
• Attention to detail with a strong sense of design and usability
• Optimization of the application for performance and scalability
• Implementing unit and integration tests (e.g. Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Node.js or server-side JavaScript (e.g. Next. xrurlwr js, Nuxt.js)
• Familiarity with TypeScript generics, decorators, or advanced type patterns
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards
